Fitness Mojo

I officially hit my first weight-loss milestone yesterday. I am now down 16 lbs to my pre-Semester at Sea weight. I have been working on lifestyle and diet changes and for the most part I’m enjoying the journey. I seem to have hit both a physical and mental plateau, so I need all yall to send me some good “get your butt in gear” mojo. Work has been crazy (but good) and I’m heading to Canada in a few hours so….wish me luck!

  1. Good for you for reaching your milestone. Positive changes are hard to accomplish, especially if you really want to change.
Have fun in Canada and you don’t really need any luck.
You are one of the most determined and wonderfully made person that I know :).
P.S. CJD is walking and my coffee table gets cleared when he comes to town!

  2. I’ve been on the get fit wagon for 4 months now and I’ve hit a couple of plateaus – one for a month. The one thing I keep doing to keep myself on track I think about how I’ll feel in three months if I stay on track and how I’ll feel if I don’t. No matter what, the time is going to go by, I might as well use it to make myself feel better 3 months from now. Stay strong and let yourself enjoy everything you put into your mouth. I’ve found some of my most “sinful” cravings are well within my reach – in fact I eat bacon almost everyday! I just make sure to enjoy every bite (of my very small portion). Stay strong and live well – don’t deprive yourself, allow yourself to enjoy all different kinds of food and exercise.
    I’m proud of you.

ps – Fiber One snack bars are a great thing to pack in your suitcase!
